Dataset and script access requests

Restricted datasets and scripts appear in listings, but other users must ask before they can use them in experiments.

Send a request

1. Open the dataset or script details page (from the Dataset Marketplace, a shared URL, a dataset-linked script, or RAI Finder).
2. Choose Request Access.
3. Wait for the owner. The item stays pending on your dashboard until it is approved or denied.

Public items that do not require a request use Add to Dashboard instead.

Manage incoming requests

Owners use the left-menu queues:

• Dataset Access Requests
• Script Access Requests

From a request you can grant or deny access. For datasets you can also allow or disallow download of the full file on that grant.

Note

Changing Access & Credits later (for example from Free to a paid model) can clear leftover free-access grants. Users may need to request access again.
