Organizations

A RAISE user belongs to at most one organization. Administrators create organizations and add members from the Administrator Panel. Members open Organization in the left menu to see their organization.

Roles

• Admin — manage members, roles, and who may spend organization credits.
• Manager
• Member

Admins can allow individual members to spend organization credits. Those members can then use the organization’s credits when they buy access or run an experiment.

A user cannot be added if they already belong to another organization. Remove them from the first organization first.

Your organization and new work

New datasets, scripts, and experiments belong to the organization you are in when you create them. You do not pick an organization on the create forms. That link stays even if you later leave the organization.

Paying with organization credits is a separate choice when you buy access or run an experiment. Who created the work and who paid for a run are not the same thing.

Note

Nodes can also belong to an organization. When you create a node you still set a name, an optional public URL, and Open or Restricted upload access.
